barack on babies being punishments

My reaction to this statement is a physical one. It makes me ill. It's not only sad and unfortunate that someone sees a human life (regardless of how they may feel about God --if they believe in God--or whoever they believe gives human life, if anyone) as a punishment but it makes me very angry. My own situation of having an unplanned pregnancy has only further strengthened my convictions about the sanctity of life and its true preciousness.

I don't mean that in the "Oh, but babies are so cute and cuddly and sweet, please don't kill them" kind of way. That's not what the pro life message is about. It's simply about respecting someone's right to thrive and assert itself as a human. That said, I can only feel sorry for Barack Obama's lack of respect for life which is apparent in the statement.

What is this world coming to?

prop 4--right for parents to know

The reason for thispost is just to inform others on Prop. 4 which will be on the ballot this November. It requires parental (or other adult relative) to be informed in case a minor wishes to have an abortion. Of course, I am for it. Having even more perspective on this as a parent, a mother of a daughter no less, I feel it would be unfair, unethical and illegal not to know my daughter was having surgery. That's what abortion is.

In any event, the following link provides actual audio from a teenager (undercover) who calls over 90 different Planned Parenthoods and other abortion clinics to schedule an appointment for an abortion. Time and again, the consultant is told by the teen that her boyfriend is 22 years old and she is 13. This IS statutory rape. Regardless of how you may feel about abortion, these facilities are REQUIRED by law to report these types of situations to authorities. Yet, none of them do. They fill the appointment. Why would they do that unless it was ALL about money?

Some may argue that many of these teens are in situations where they cannot have open communication with their parents because of fear of a violent reaction from them. To them I say that these are situations that "may" happen but the opposition has yet to find ONE single girl who has had this happen to them because of parental notification. Furthermore, law enforcement supports Prop. 4 because they want to help put sexual predators behind bars, not let them run lose. These people need to be incarcerated!
